19th Founding day of KIA was celebrated on 22nd September 2010 at C A S Botany, University of Madras, Chennai. Prof B D Kaushik was honoured with Life time achievement award in Phycology by KIA. Dr Pushpa Srivastava of University of Rajasthan gave a talk on Spirulina and its pharmaceutical applications. Prof Umamaheshwararao and Dr N Anand gave felicitations.
